Situated on a farm overlooking the beautiful East Sussex countryside this charming holiday lodge has fantastic walks on its doorstep. Located close to the village of Pett guests can take advantage of the local pub after a long walk through the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Winchelsea Beach is just four miles away with its neighbouring ancient village of Winchelsea boasting a pub coffee shop and medieval church. Inside the cottage has exposed ceiling and wall beams. As you enter the property there is a compact kitchen to the left with a small sink gas hob and all the equipment you should need to cook from pans to crockery. Guests are invited to store fresh food in the fridge/freezer in the barn next door or use a cool box for bottled drinks and cans. There is a pull out table for dining during the colder months and a comfortable sofa for cosy nights in. The compact yet stylish shower room and dry WC are located at the back of the house while the bedroom can be found at the top of a quirky wooden ladder. Here you will find a double bed beneath exposed beams with a dormer window at eye level offering a fantastic view of the valley and fields from the bed. Outside a wrap-around wooden deck provides plenty of spots to sit and admire the varying views while a picnic bench offers a charming spot to enjoy an al fresco meal. When the sun goes down guests can enjoy roasting marshmallows on the campfire using firewood for sale on site.
