This area of Cornwall is home to both the most Southerly point of the mainland (Lizard Point on the Lizard Peninsula) and the most westerly (Land's End on the Penwith Peninsula).
It is surely one of the most scenic areas of England, and its mild climate means that is is home to some rather exotic vegetation.
Attractions in the area include the charming resort of St Ives (which is home to Tate St Ives), The Minack Teatre (a unique open-air venue for drama and other performances) and Lizard Point.

Chy-an-Heyl
is a two bedroom cottage (Sleeps 4) available to rent throughout the
year for Family Holidays.
Located near St Ives and within easy reach of numerous beaches and places of intertest, Chy-an-Heyl is a Granite & Cob cottage that was built in the mid 1800's. It
is situated in a peaceful rural location on the edge of the village
of St Erth. The village has a shop and a friendly pub (The Star)
and can be reached by foot in about 9 minutes, either via the fields
or by road. Hayle Town is about 1.3 miles and St Ives is 5 miles.
