This fantastic property, situated 2.5 miles from Barmouth Beach, is perfect for families or groups of friends to enjoy some luxury in North Wales. Sleeping six over three tranquil bedrooms, this gorgeous holiday home sits in an elevated position with views over the estuary and mountains beyond. Spend the day adventuring around Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park (15 miles) before coming home to relax in the garden, sizzling up a BBQ and eating on the terrace as the sun goes down behind Cadair Idris.

You're welcomed by the property's bright and airy feel as soon as you step in. The neutrally-styled kitchen is flooded with natural light thanks to the huge patio doors to the terrace; cook up a storm and dine at the table looking out at the views or move outside to dine alfresco. There's a handy utility room off the kitchen too.

Retire to the lounge where exposed beams, a charming feature fireplace and a wood burner-effect electric fire invite you to snuggle up on the sofas and watch TV. A stylish bathroom with shower over the bath sits on the ground floor, along with a tranquil king-size bedroom that has wonderful exposed beams and an en-suite WC.

Upstairs, the bedrooms have fabulous views over the estuary; a king-size with restricted head height and a twin with an en-suite shower room. Both rooms have tranquil decor with pretty accent colours to help you to sleep. There's another shower room on the first floor too. Enjoy a leisurely trip on the Fairbourne Railway (15 miles) that takes you to Penrhyn Point before connecting with a ferry across the Afon Mawddach to Barmouth.

You can't miss the Llanfair Slate Caverns (11.5 miles) and Harlech Castle (13 miles). And since you're on the cusp of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), you've got plenty of walking routes available for all abilities.
