Younger guests will adore meeting farmyard animals on-site or playing in the outdoor play area with a slide, trampoline and football net, whilst the adults of your party will adore hanging out in every area and enjoying distant sea views when relaxing outdoors.

All in all, the cottage sleeps up to eight guests and is entirely dog-friendly. Immaculately presented with luxe decor and contemporary tech, this two-storey holiday home is a destination for any modern family. Spend time together in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a room flooded with natural light and furnished with everything you need for slow mornings and restful evenings together.

As each day draws to a close, four appealing bedrooms await throughout the property's two floors, two with zip-and-link beds offering splendid versatility. Outside, you've got plenty of space to bathe in the sunshine or admire the stars. Whilst children play in the play area, adults and pets can enjoy lounging in the enclosed garden with a patio, BBQ and firepit on hand.

Take a short journey through winding country roads to reach one of Devon's finest beaches at Welcombe Mouth (4 miles). This Site of Special Scientific Interest destination is filled with rugged beauty, complete with thrilling rocks, craggy rock pools and a magical waterfall. Cross over the border and into Cornwall to discover the eclectic seaside town of Bude, home to the livelier Summerleaze Beach (12.5 miles) that's ideal for a summer's day with facilities close by, a freshwater sea pool and surf lessons readily available.
