The lovely terrace overlooks the grounds and surrounding fields. There are plenty of walks from the doorstep, while a half-mile trail will take you into the heart of picturesque Crayke village and its popular pub.

Nearby is the quaint market town of Easingwold (3 miles), which is full of history dating back to the 12th century. This delightful cottage has a contemporary feel with an airy, open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with plenty of natural light to help you unwind. The smart decor has soothing colours with some bold splashes that add some vibrancy.

The lounge area is perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure, with a comfortable sofa to curl up on, an inviting armchair, and a Smart TV to catch up on your favourite box sets. The spacious kitchen area has everything you need to make meal preparation a cinch. The extensive ruins and museum at Rievaulx Abbey (15.5 miles) are peaceful, with plenty of walks along the valley.
