Enjoy country drives with lake views as you discover Bassenthwaite (10 miles), Loweswater (12 miles), and Ennerdale Water (12 miles). Visit the market town of Keswick (18 miles), tee off at Cockermouth golf club (8 miles), or swing from the treetops in Whinlatter Forest Park (15 miles). Head up the garden path and step inside this country-style cottage.

Leave muddy boots in the seat chest by the front door, and hang coats in the cloakroom under the stairs before wandering to the open-plan dining and living room.
