The apartment is set on the first and second floors of a pastel-coloured terrace located right by the sea and in the heart of the action in lovely Aberdyfi.

Head straight up the stairs to the first floor and you'll find your front door, leading into an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with seriously lovely views of the sea and the harbour. Curl up on the window seat to watch the waves, the boats and the weather all day. You can rustle up delicious meals in the well-designed kitchen, and enjoy them at the central dining table before relaxing on the sofas, perhaps with a DVD or a movie on the Smart TV.

A short hallway leads to your shower room, while a narrow, cottage-style staircase takes you up to the second floor and your two bedrooms, a double with sea views and a twin with 2'6” beds, both with ample storage. Aberdyfi has so much to offer, from its 18-hole links golf course to a variety of water sports, including sailing, paddleboarding and wind surfing.

Its 4-mile sandy beach is a big draw, and if you need a change there are plenty of shops and restaurants. You can book a boat trip for fishing, sea-life spotting or just to admire the beautiful views of the shoreline. If you feel like a change, head inland and explore the Cambrian Mountains and their variety of walking trails, or drive to Machynlleth, 10.5 miles, or Dolgellau, 23 miles, each of which boasts an interesting range of shops, pubs and places to eat.
