Set on a beautiful private estate and featuring a bubbling hot tub, roaring wood burner and exposed beams, this delightful cottage makes a fabulous base for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers discovering this unforgettable area. Situated in a peaceful courtyard, a stone archway leads through into the cottage where you will find the light and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with exposed beams.

With a Smart TV and comfortable seating, the lounge is a perfect space to sit back and watch a movie. You can enjoy a family meal together around the sociable dining table, and the kitchen has a wide range of useful equipment. Upstairs, you will have a choice of two lovely king-size en-suite bedrooms: one charming room with stone walls and exposed beams, and the stunning main suite with exposed beams in a high vaulted ceiling, a welcoming wood burner and an additional freestanding roll-top bath.

Outside, the enclosed garden offers a fantastic hot tub to unwind in, along with a seating area perfect for dining alfresco and taking in the views over the estate. Penrith (4 miles) has a wealth of great places to eat and drink, and is home to Brougham Castle, the Rheged centre and the remains of Penrith Castle.

The cottage is situated between the Lake District and the North Pennines (both within 6.5 miles) offering wonderful walks among breathtaking countryside. Local attractions include Cross Fell, Dalemain Mansion and Pooley Bridge on the shores of Ullswater (all within 11 miles).
