Get in from a good walk and light the wood burner in the living room, with comfy leather sofas and a Smart TV. Cook something special in the kitchen, then enjoy it in the separate dining room with a stunning ornamental fireplace. The contemporary family bathroom with a bath and separate shower is mid-landing, and the two lovely bedrooms with stylish furniture are upstairs.

You can soak up the sun in the garden with a cool drink and the cottage also has cycle storage if you want to take your bikes away with you. Situated close to the centre of Keswick, there are lovely shops, cafes, and restaurants within half a mile. The shores of Derwentwater are less than 1 mile away, where there are incredible views of the water and peaks beyond.

Go on a boat cruise to explore or set out from there on a walk, including the 10-mile circular route around the lake. You'll pass the Theatre by the Lake, less than 1 mile away, which has regular productions and family friendly events, and a lovely cafe restaurant. Keen walkers may want to visit Skiddaw and Blencathra, both less than 6 miles away, and everyone will enjoy the views from Castlerigg Stone Circle.
