Head into the village to explore the quaint shops, cosy pubs, and medieval castle, or journey into Abergavenny (11 miles) or Monmouth (10.5 miles) for a spot of retail therapy.

The area is a paradise for walkers with both the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) and the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within 10 miles. The property is arranged across one level and has an open-plan layout. The decor is contemporary and large windows really make the most of the breathtaking scenery.

The lounge/kitchen/diner is a sociable space, with a large dining table and a cosy lounge area with comfortable seating arranged around a Smart TV. The sleek kitchen area has a breakfast bar and everything you need for a self-catering holiday. In summer, throw open the bi-fold doors to the terrace to further extend the living space.

The property has two elegant bedrooms: a king-size with increased accessibility and an en-suite wet room, and a twin with an en-suite shower room. Outside, you'll find a sunny, raised terrace for al fresco dining, and an enclosed lawn for playing outdoor games. Abergavenny is known for its wonderful selection of independent pubs, cafes, and restaurants.

The town also hosts regular markets and is a great place to pick up local produce for your dinner. There are some lovely walks in and around the town, including along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain. For a fun family day out, head to Raglan Farm Park (2.5 miles), where you'll find friendly farm animals, outdoor play areas, and trampolines.
