Newquay (2.5mls NE), Cornwall - Sleeps 6
Accommodation details
Get the best of coast and country at this beautiful contemporary home 4 miles along the coast from Newquay on a small holiday park. It's perfect for an outdoorsy family, with a big garden, stunning walks on your doorstep, awesome attractions, several beaches, and the fun of Newquay nearby. The house has an upside-down layout to make the most of the light and views.
The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is upstairs. Huddle up in the comfy corner sofa and cuddle chair with the wood burner crackling away and the Smart TV on and cook up a feast to enjoy at the dining table. Downstairs are the three bedrooms (the whole of the downstairs has underfloor heating) and family bathroom.
The Master has a king-size bed, en-suite shower room and a Smart TV; the second bedroom is a super-king (or twin); and the third bedroom is a funky bunk room with a double bed base. The enclosed garden is fantastic: patios on different levels, a seating area, a BBQ, and a big lawn. You don't have to go far for fun.
The converted barn is on a small friendly working farm so you might meet cows, sheep, and chickens, and there are three well-stocked coarse fishing lakes on-site and an outdoor kids' play area. Head to the beach (1.5 miles away) or wander along the South West Coast Path to explore the rugged coastline.
Newquay is 4 miles away with lots of beaches, shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, as well as Newquay Zoo, the aquarium, a cinema, and crazy golf. There are lots of pretty Cornish fishing towns and villages to discover and foodies will love Padstow, 12 miles away, it's a seafood and fine-dining lover's dream.
While you're here, a trip to the Eden Project is a must (16 miles).
