Within walking distance of Ambleside village centre and the shores of Lake Windermere, Uldale is slightly elevated in a peaceful location, commanding views to Loughrigg Fell and the famous Fairfield Horseshoe.
Ambleside is steeped with history; pretty traditional Lakeland cottages and ancient buildings share the streets with local shops, sophisticated boutiques and an array of cafes and eateries. There's plenty to do and see, even in the evenings - Ambleside is home to several bars and acclaimed Lake District restaurants as well as plenty of options for family entertainment.
There are even two high quality, independent cinema venues and a jazz bar. Waterhead pier and the lake itself is a 20 minute walk from Ambleside, for lake cruises, boat hire and just enjoying the serene waters. "
