Large rear elevated garden seating area with table and chairs, and small front garden area with bistro table and chairs. Secure locked back yard area for bikes and outdoor equipment.

One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 0.2 miles. The promenade and facilities of Grange are a four-minute walk away, either walk down through the woods opposite the cottage or follow the road downhill for 300 metres to the centre of town. The village of Cartmel with its racecourse, fine dining, excellent pubs and quirky shops is a 5-minute drive away or, if you are feeling energetic, a 45 minute walk over Hampsfell Hill.

Grange over Sands railway station is a 5 minute walk away (through the woods) or 8 minutes along the road, the train goes round the bay to Arnside, Morecambe and Lancaster, trains from Euston station can reach Grange in under 3 hours with one change at Lancaster.
