This light, four-bedroom farmhouse set on a working farm on the Isle of Wight, is a spacious retreat with easy access to Cowes (1.5 miles). Gather eight family members or friends, plus three dogs, and enjoy countryside walks, beautiful beaches and plenty of water sports. Inside, the interiors are simple and cool with cheerful tones and wood-panelled flooring creating a homely atmosphere.

After a day of activity, step into the bright and breezy kitchen and create a hearty meal in the neat kitchen. It has all the appliances you’ll need for a comfortable stay and a small table for a casual bite-to-eat. For more sociable meals, step through to the spacious dining room with its pretty countryside views and enjoy a family dinner at the large table.

Afterwards, retire to the lounge, sink into one of the comfortable sofas, unwind with your favourite film on the TV, or settle down with a good book. Children will also love the separate snug room where they can kick back with their favourite TV programme or enjoy a game of table football. When it’s time for bed, head upstairs and choose between four well-sized bedrooms.
