The beautiful West Bay is the nearest beach (6 miles), leading south-east past Abbotsbury (11 miles) towards the vibrant seaside resort of Weymouth (20 miles). Local attractions include Coney's Castle, Forde Abbey and Gardens, and Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, all within 14 miles.
