The property offers a sweet and cheery lounge/diner with a wood burner, Smart TV and plenty of comfortable seating. The spacious kitchen has ample equipment and a sociable breakfast table.

Upstairs, you will find four cosy bedrooms: a pretty twin, two charming doubles - one with stained glass windows - and an en-suite super-king-size room with a wonderful vaulted ceiling. This floor also features a Jack and Jill bathroom accessible from the landing and from one of the double rooms. Outside, the enclosed walled garden has outdoor furniture and a BBQ, providing a sunny space for sitting back and relaxing with some al fresco dining on a summer afternoon.

To the front of the property, a generous lawn with a low stone wall offers views across the village. Powerstock is a small and picturesque village lying midway between the ancient woodlands of Powerstock Common (3.5 miles) and the thriving market town of Bridport (5 miles) which offers a variety of fantastic pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants.

Nettlecombe (0.5 miles) has a couple of great places to eat and drink while nature lovers explore the serene Kingcombe Meadows Nature Reserve (4.5 miles). The nearest beach is at West Bay (6 miles), leading south-east past Abbotsbury (11 miles) towards the popular seaside resort of Weymouth (20 miles).
