Holiday home to rent in Gloucester, Gloucestershire

Orchard Cottage offers a peaceful escape in the heart of Corse, a friendly Gloucestershire village surrounded by rolling fields and winding lanes. Sleeping up to six guests across two bedrooms and a double sofa bed, it’s a fine choice for families or small groups looking to slow the pace and enjoy a proper slice of English countryside life.

Step through the door and you’ll find a warm, inviting interior that feels instantly welcoming. The kitchen/diner has everything you need for a self-catered stay, from a gas oven and hob to a microwave and fridge, so you can enjoy anything from hearty breakfasts to evening suppers after a day of exploring.

The sitting room provides a relaxed space to unwind, whether you’re catching up on a film, listening to some music, or just chatting over a bottle of wine. WiFi keeps everyone connected, and a sleek shower room with a walk-in shower with a small step offers a refreshing way to start the day. Outside, a suntrap patio with seating invites slow mornings over coffee or peaceful evenings watching the light fade across the fields, a small but satisfying luxury.

The local shop is within walking distance for those little essentials, while a welcoming pub nearby serves up good food and a proper pint. Corse itself is a quiet, rural spot that feels worlds away from the rush of daily life, yet it’s perfectly placed for exploring some of Gloucestershire’s finest highlights.

Head into the historic city of Gloucester to admire its magnificent cathedral and bustling docks, or take a trip to the elegant spa town of Cheltenham with its grand Regency streets and independent shops.
