It's located within the majestic national park, so ideal for lovers of nature, hiking, cycling, horse riding and mountain biking. You'll also be just 4.5 miles from the historic town of Conwy, where you'll find an impressive range of shopping, dining and entertainment options, and a castle you can visit.

The property has space for six guests, making it perfect for a family group or trip among friends, who are welcome to bring two dogs. You'll enter the accommodation into a good-sized dual-aspect lounge, featuring plenty of comfortable seating and an elegant wooden floor. A cosy wood burner and a TV/DVD are on hand to keep you warm and entertained.

Through the large French windows, you'll have scenic views of the shared gardens. The roomy kitchen/diner features a rustic country-style dining table for those sociable mealtimes with plenty of wine flowing. Up on the first floor, the bedrooms all have charming sloping ceilings. In terms of outside space, you'll have access to a well-kept shared garden at both the front and rear.

There's also a private patio area where you can have pre-dinner drinks or even eat alfresco if it's warm. There's plenty to do nearby, starting perhaps with Conwy Water Gardens (1.5 miles), which offers fishing, a nature trail, an aquatic centre and a pancake house. At the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno (8.5 miles), you can visit Mostyn Contemporary Art Gallery, see a show at Venue Cymru theatre and walk to the end of the longest pier in Wales.

The wonderful Bodnant Garden (5 miles), a National Trust site, is another excellent option.
