Minsterworth, Gloucestershire - Sleeps 2

Accommodation details

With the Gloucestershire Way almost on the doorstep, this is an enviable location for walkers and cyclists alike, keen to explore the glories of the Cotswolds. You will be well-placed for exploring The Forest of Dean and you can experience a wide array of outdoor activities such as cycling, walking, horse riding, fishing, canoeing and kayaking on the River Wye.

Or you could explore the River Severn, and experience the famous Severn Bore. The historic cathedral city of Gloucester is close by, and there are many wonderful National Trust properties including Chedworth Roman Villa, Hidcote Gardens, Westbury Court Gardens and Haresfield Beacon. Or you could even stay closer to home and meet the alpacas on the farm.

The property has been refurbished in 2025. Work has included traditional lime plaster and rendering finished in limewash, new sandstone floors quarried and cut just 17 miles from us at the Birch Hill Quarry and bespoke oak furniture made by Max at his workshop near Ludlow. Paintings and prints in The Dairy are by local artists. Entering this characterful property via the stunning courtyard, you will find yourself in the bright and welcoming lounge.

Attractively furnished and with wood burner, Smart TV, this is a lovely space to relax in. Exploring further, you will find a lovely traditional kitchen, with an ideal dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, espresso coffee machine, Bluetooth speaker and DAB radio.

You will also find a comfy but spacious double bedroom. There is also a shower room complete with shower and WC. Stepping outside, there is a delightful enclosed courtyard garden, which is equipped with garden furniture and BBQ and is just perfect for relaxing and unwinding in. There are also opportunities for farm activities.

You could meet the alpacas, and alpaca walks are possible by arrangement during weekends and some evenings. Lambing takes place in February/March. Fruit picking is seasonal.
