The Grade II-listed converted barn is full of period charm, with exposed beams, whitewashed stone walls, and low doorways.

Traditional furniture and homely accessories create a cosy abode and original mullion windows frame beautiful countryside views. The accommodation is all on one level and the main living area comprises an open-plan lounge/kitchenette/diner. Spend time here, rustling up hearty breakfasts and light bites, to share at the pretty table by the window, before snuggling up on the sofa to watch the TV/DVD.

For a day on The Broads, head to the pretty village of Claxton (13 miles).

Enjoy relaxing waterside strolls along the River Yare, head to Rockland Broad to admire the local wildlife from the bird hide or stretch your legs with a jaunt along the long-distance Wherryman's Way. Alternatively, journey to the coast for a traditional day at the seaside in Great Yarmouth. Stride out along the promenade, share a picnic on the sandy beach, or unleash your inner child with a visit to the arcades.
