Fish House is a lovely detached cottage situated close to the town of Kirkcudbright just twenty five miles from Dumfries. The cottage can sleep eight people in one king-size double bedroom with en-suite shower, one double, one twin and one children's bunk together with two bathrooms. Also in the cottage is a kitchen and sitting room with dining area and woodburner.

Outside is ample off road parking and a front garden across the road with furniture. Fish House is set in an isolated location with fantastic views.

Accommodation Summary

All ground floor. Four bedrooms: 1 x king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x double, 1 x twin, 1 x children's bunk with TV (for video use only).

Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and woodburner. Sun room.

Facilities

Oil central heating and woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 x TVs (one with FreeSat, one for video use only), DVD, CD, WiFi, selection of books, games, children's videos and DVDs.

Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair and travel cot available. Off road parking for 3 cars. Front garden with furniture. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: The garden is on the other side of the road from the house, across a busy road and care should be taken.

Note: There is a drop from the lawn onto the sand and again care should be taken. Note: Swimming is not advised from the garden; Dhoon Bay, a popular local swimming beach, is about 10 minutes walk from the house. Note: There can be shooting in the local area during the months of October, November, December and January.
