Cottage to rent in Looe, Cornwall

Accommodation details

Situated just a few hundred metres from the river in the fishing town of Looe in South Cornwall, May Cottage is an attractive holiday retreat which has been thoughtfully updated offering harbour views and a Mediterranean-style suntrap patio garden. Stroll down to the waterside and watch the fishing boats return with their catch, spend a day browsing the shops, or wander across the bridge to East Looe and the attractive sandy beach. Settle in May Cottage's pretty lounge and take in the views across Looe's rooftops across to the harbour and beyond to the sparkling sea.

Tasteful seaside touches reflect the property's proximity to the coast and the riverside quay, whilst the patio garden to the rear of cottage offers a sunny spot to breathe in the fresh sea air and listen to the sounds of sea birds call as you relax over al fresco drinks. Located in West Looe, the quieter half of this charming harbour town, May Cottage is ideally situated for those who want to enjoy a true seaside holiday.

A whole host of boat trips can be enjoyed from the quay, including thrilling shark fishing excursions and relaxing wildlife spotting trips on a glass-bottomed boat out to Looe Island where seals bask on the rocks. 4 miles to the west of the town, Polperro is a wonderfully unspoilt fishing village with an interesting array of artist galleries and a unique tidal bathing pool set in front of the rocks and cave on the beach.
