From here, follow the stairs to the elegant double bedroom, featuring an ornate bedframe and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the surrounding countryside. A staircase leads to the first floor, which is home to an impressive lounge with a vaulted ceiling and characterful exposed stonework.

The vibrant market town of Ross-on-Wye is 4 miles away, and boasts a great range of independent shops and eateries, as well as intriguing antique and vintage stores.

After a spot of retail therapy, take a stroll around the attractive town, admiring its pastel-coloured houses and historic buildings, or set off on a relaxing walk along the River Wye. The iconic Symonds Yat Rock is 3.5 miles away. The views from this ancient hillfort are truly breathtaking, and it's also one of the best places in the country for spotting peregrine falcons.
