This delightful barn conversion located on the outskirts of the village of Yelverton in Dartmoor National Park is the ideal place for a romantic, rural retreat. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, it’s easy to immerse yourself in the tranquillity and enjoy the slower pace of life that the Devon countryside offers.

When you’ve made the most of the peace and quiet and fancy something more metropolitan, the town of Tavistock and city of Plymouth are nearby offering a wealth of amenities. As you approach the property, you will appreciate its attractive stone exterior, which fits in perfectly with its agricultural surroundings.

The entrance is on the ground floor and has an area for coats and boots. Going up the flight of stairs, you will come to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This area is very spacious, accentuated by the vaulted ceilings and original features such as exposed beams and stone walls. It is tastefully furnished to create a cosy and relaxing feel.

The king-size bedroom also boasts a beautiful exposed stone wall and has an en-suite shower room. Outside, there is a shared garden area allowing guests to soak up the country air. With lots of scenic walks from your doorstep, you’ll never get bored, but the village of Yelverton is within half a mile of the property boasting a variety of shops, pubs/restaurant/cafes.

For something livelier, the city of Plymouth is 10.5 miles away with its National Marine Aquarium, historic Hoe, Theatre Royal, shops, pubs and restaurants. For something more rural, the rugged landscape of Dartmoor is 4 miles away, with the spectacular 30-foot waterfall at Lydford Gorge being a particular highlight (13 miles).
