The cottage has a double room and a twin room, a family bathroom on the ground floor, a kitchen, dining room with woodburning stove and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking for two cars, a shared, enclosed front lawned garden with furniture and a further enclosed, private, lawned garden area to the rear with a storage shed.
Gamekeeper's Cottage makes an ideal base for enjoying both the inland beauty of the Cheviots and the stunning Heritage coastline.Accommodation Summary

Note: The property is an historic workers cottage dating back to 1836 (so not a modern property) and has a steep stairway to the bedrooms and step between kitchen and dining room. It is not recommended for people and pets with limited mobility. Bus service 4x per day Monday-Saturday to Alnwick and Wooler.
Chillingham village is served by a private water supply, although it is regularly tested and drunk by the locals but guests may like to boil the water or bring their own if they would prefer.
