When your eyes feel heavy, take the stairs up to your inviting bedroom and sink down into the sumptuous bed for a much-needed night’s sleep. Take a romantic stroll around the town’s bustling harbour and explore the full-size replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship, The Golden Hind.

Pack a picnic and head along the South West Coast Path to Berry Head National Nature Reserve (1.5 miles). Along the path, you’ll find some lovely secluded beaches including St Mary’s Bay and Fishcombe Cove. For a little history, visit the beloved holiday home of author Agatha Christie at the National Trust’s Greenway House and Gardens, 4.5 miles away.
