There is a range of good, local shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes in the village meaning you can breathe in the sea air while you grab any necessities for your stay. This cottage has a real cosy feel about it and staying here means you are within easy reach of the boat trips to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and seals at various times of the year, you can walk along the beach or coastal path to beautiful Bamburgh village, visit the magnificent castle that looms large over the coastline and explore the village restaurants, independent shops, the Grace Darling Museum and golden stretches of beach.

Visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne for some mead tasting and the historic priory and castle, walk the crescent shaped beach and Bay at nearby Beadnell with its two great pub restaurants and renowned Salt water cafe (patisserie by day and Bistro by night!). Kipper Cottage has full central heating (solar powered) and is equipped with Wi-Fi and a lovely new wood burning stove for cosy nights in at all times of the year.

Please note: Kipper Cottage is opposite the Schooner Inn, a friendly local pub which welcomes holidaymakers and their dogs and hosts live music at weekends. This cottage accepts two well behaved dogs. Bed linen, towels, heating and hot water are all included.
