Situated in picturesque Shropshire, close to the border with Wales, the stylish, four-bedroom abode is 6.5 miles from Oswestry and 15 miles from Welshpool.

It sleeps eight guests and offers chic, single-storey accommodation. Leave your outerwear in the utility room by the door and amble through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its great bank of windows. Pull the doors open in here on warm days so everyone can spill outside on to the veranda.

Gather on the soft seating to watch the Smart TV or play games together. Pull a stool up to the breakfast bar in the immaculate kitchen area to chat to the chef in your group as they find everything they need to help them cater for your party. Congregate round the table for fun holiday meals together.

When day turns to night, head off to one of your lovely bedrooms. These include three king-sizes, with en-suite shower rooms and TVs. One of these rooms has doors to the hot tub area. There is also a twin bedroom, with zip-and-link beds that can be set up as a super-king inside if discussed in advance and with access to a Jack and Jill bathroom.

Cook supper out on the veranda on warm evenings, as the children play games on the grass and you open a bottle of wine. Take in the views from your private hot tub and enjoy an evening stroll through the shared grounds. Venture into Oswestry to stock up on local produce, dine out and see the Iron Age fort.
