Also in this area is a plump sofa and a TV. Continue into the king-size bedroom with minimalist decor and ambient lighting. Completing the interior of the cottage is a shower room. Outside, you will find a private garden with a picnic bench and BBQ. During your stay in the village of Aldfield, take a walk along the River Skell and explore the 18th-century medieval Fountains Abbey before soaking up the tranquil sights from Surprise View & Anne Boleyn's Seat and follow the walking trail around the Temple of Fame to Seven Bridge Valley (3.5 miles).

Spot the wildlife at the Studley Royal Deer Park (2 miles) and don't miss a trip to the National Trust's Brimham Rocks (6.5 miles) with 400 acres of moorland and unique rock formations. You could also treat yourself to a meal out in the cathedral city of Ripon (3.5 miles).
