The thriving seafaring town of Brixham has plenty to see and do, with local attractions including Shoalstone Pool, a replica of Sir Francis Drake's The Golden Hind and the beautiful Berry Head National Nature Reserve, which is situated just at the end of the road.

You can also enjoy boat trips across Torbay to Torquay. The nearby town of Paignton has a zoo and an aquarium, and you can catch a steam train which runs through the beautiful Dart Valley. There's also a choice of stunning sandy beaches along the coast.
