Mey, Northern Scotland - Sleeps 6

Accommodation details

Your very own Highland lookout, this house sits right on the Pentland Firth, with land stretching almost right down to the water’s edge. Look out over the tip of Scotland, its craggy islands and shoreline, and enjoy exploring the sights and habitats of this astonishingly wild area. The house itself is a lovely building: a traditional Scottish structure that’s been lovingly renovated with a conservatory and rooms that really take advantage of its seaside location, letting the light and the views in through feature windows. Step in and find the bright and cheerful lounge, a lovely place to relax on the sofa in front of the TV.

The kitchen is a sweet space with a family table, great for quick meals together, or for a more majestic tone, take your dinner at the dining table in the conservatory, a beautiful addition to the building with a high peaked roof. Here you can share stories of your day as the Firth stretches out around you. Upstairs are your bedrooms.

The master is a relaxing double, with wood and natural colours designed to feel tranquil and showcase the glorious scenery outside. There are also two twin bedrooms, delightfully decorated with comfy beds and tartan details. All the bedrooms have wash hand basins, useful for getting an early start in the morning. Outside the property is an enclosed garden, surrounded by a lovely old stone wall, where kids can let off steam to enjoy the Highland air.

Ample off-road parking for up to three cars.
