Nestled amongst the Cornish countryside on the banks of the River Fowey, this wonderful detached property is the ideal rural retreat for friends/families. It's perfectly positioned for guests wishing to explore both coastlines as well as offering woodland walks on your doorstep and rugged Bodmin Moor (7 miles) to the north.

Other activities are also on offer locally, such as surfing and cycling. Despite its tranquil and secluded position, guests will be pleased to know there's a pub within a few hundred metres. This property has been immaculately decorated in a fresh, contemporary style; cool tones blend beautifully with oak furniture and the occasional pop of colour to create a bright and airy space for guests to relax in.

From the terrace, you enter the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which feels light and spacious. Although modest, the kitchen is well-equipped with everything you'll need. Leading off the living area are two beautifully presented bedrooms: one double and one twin. The double has an en-suite shower room and there is also a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a lawn and terrace, which is great for al fresco dining with a view. On the south coast, the South West Coast Path connects the picturesque fishing towns/villages of Looe, Polperro and Fowey (all within 14.5 miles), which all boast a range of independent shops, eateries and galleries.

The north coast has yet more stunning places to visit such as Port Isaac (19 miles), Padstow and Tintagel (within 30 miles) or popular surfers' resort, Newquay (25 miles). Both coasts are also home to gorgeous sandy beaches and hidden coves. For something different, head to the Eden Project (12 miles).
