At the heart of the home is a magnificent kitchen/diner, with everything needed to cater for a large group. Gather around the stylish breakfast bar for light bites and itinerary planning, or host memorable dinner parties at the formal dining table in the sunroom. This exceptional space boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with far-reaching rural views and, in summer months, you can open the doors to the patio to further extend the social space.

After dinner, retire to the lounge to warm your toes by the wood burner or whip up a tasty tipple at the cocktail bar. Completing the ground floor is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite wet room. Two staircases lead to the first floor, where you'll discover the remaining bedrooms, two of which have en-suite facilities, and a luxurious family bathroom.

The enclosed garden has a patio area with furniture and a BBQ for outdoor entertaining, as well as a lawn and a table tennis table. The property is set in 40 acres of grassland, and you'll also have access to a shared games barn with a multi-use space that's suitable for tennis, badminton, and football.

The picturesque town of Llangollen (20 miles) is well worth a visit during your stay. Aside from perusing its fabulous collection of independent shops and eateries, you can take a cruise along the canal, walk along the river, or hop on the steam train to chug through the surrounding countryside. The cathedral city of Chester, with its fascinating medieval city walls and historic buildings, is also within easy reach (20 miles).
