Wander into the generous reception hall and make yourselves at home in the lounge/diner.

Fire up the wood burner in here and choose a film on the Smart TV. Open the doors on warm days to spill out into the garden. Find there is also a snug, with TV, at ground-floor level for those who want to watch something different. Amble through to the farmhouse kitchen/diner, with an additional wood burner, to whip up hearty meals to enjoy here at the table, through in the dining room or out in the fresh air.

Head on up to the first floor to find the family bathroom, a shower room and all the bedrooms. These include a king-size, with en-suite bathroom, a twin and a super king-size zip and link (which may be twin beds on request) all opening to a balcony. The remaining bedrooms are king-size and double in size.

The double room also has an additional single bed. Explore the beautiful grounds, light the BBQ and challenge each other to a game of tennis, snooker or table tennis. There is plenty of parking at this holiday home. Spend sunny days at Summerleaze Beach, 5.5 miles away, with its wide beach, river and sea pool.

Swim, picnic and go surfing here. Visit the National Trust’s Sandymouth Bay, 6.5 miles away, for a beach experience that is more off the beaten track.
