Upstairs are the other two bedrooms and a luxurious family bathroom. The large garden area has plenty of spots to sit and admire the wildlife and views around you. Dunnerdale is a picturesque valley with an abundance of walks and cycling routes available from the doorstep.

Take a stroll along Grass Guards Ghyll and up to the summit of Caw nestled above the valley or visit the cascading Stanley Ghyll Force (6.5 miles). If you want to try something more challenging, 8 miles away is the base of England's highest peak Scafell Pike. Find pubs and a shop in Broughton Mills (4 miles), or head to Coniston Water (15 miles) and enjoy kayaking, canoeing or stand-up paddle boarding.
