Step into the cosy lounge/diner with comfy sofas to relax on as you watch the smart TV, all while basking in the warmth of the crackling wood burner which makes meals at the nearby dining table extra cosy. The kitchen is well-equipped and has a second table and chairs, as well as a TV so the chef doesn’t miss out on entertainment.

The cottage has three pretty bedrooms, one double with an en-suite shower room, and two welcoming twin rooms, all with gorgeous wooden furniture, storage space, and French doors to the decked area. A well-appointed family bathroom completes the interior. Outside, there’s lots of space for the kids to play on the two shared lawned areas – one is enclosed and has a fish pond as well as a picnic bench for al fresco lunches.

The kids can also play in the shared play area, while you can sit and relax on the raised decking with a cool drink. Pop into the pretty market town of Narberth (2.5 miles) with a great mix of independent shops, pubs, coffee shops, and restaurants. For a fun day out, head to Folly Farm Adventure Park (4 miles) to see the exotic creatures, farmyard animals and adventure playgrounds.

For a more peaceful trip, walk or canoe along the Cleddau River through peaceful ancient woodland, salt marshes and tidal creeks (10 miles). There are stunning beaches nearby too, including Wiseman’s Bridge Beach (4 mile), Saundersfoot (4.5 miles) and Amroth Beach (5.5 miles).
