Goswick Hall is a wonderful converted Lakeland barn in a picturesque setting in the hamlet of Bowland Bridge near Bowness. This rural property is reached via a quiet leafy lane only a few hundred yards from the renowned Mason’s Arms at Strawberry Bank and is an unforgettable place to soak up the surrounding countryside.

The entrance hallway leads you to through the dining area to the cosy sitting room with exposed beams and window seat, perfect for curling up with a book. The spacious kitchen has all you need for a comfortable stay complete with breakfast table. Head upstairs to find the two bedrooms, one king-size and the family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Families can also make use of the additional sitting room with TV and there is secure bike storage too. The Lyth Valley provides a peaceful setting for your Lake District break but is also only a short drive to Bowness. The famous Wainwright walk up Gummer’s How is also only a short drive from the cottage, offering stunning views over Lake Windermere from the southern tip of the Lake.

Families can spend a resting break at Goswick Hall, surrounded by stunning scenery but never too far from excellent pub dining and all the attractions of Bowness.
