With two bedrooms, this charming property is wonderful for a family trip or two couples holidaying together, and two dogs are also welcome. As you enter this pretty stone construction, you'll be struck by how light and airy it feels inside, thanks to white walls, accents in light-coloured wood and a contemporary refurb.

The open-plan living area is excellent for relaxing together in the evenings. Nearby, cyclists and walkers will be keen to join the Ystwyth Trail (1.5 miles), a 21-mile route linking Aberystwyth and Tregaron (11.5 miles) that partly follows the old Great Western Railway line.

Aberystwyth has so much to offer visitors, whether you fancy picnicking on its lovely North Beach, a round of golf, a trip up the cliff railway or a slap-up meal in one of many fantastic eateries. The Parc Penglais Nature Reserve is another place for walking, while birdwatchers will make a beeline for the RSPB Nature Reserve at Ynys-hir (17.5 miles).
