Whilst any spacious country house may feel cool and lofty, the owners have gone to great lengths to ensure that this holiday home is cosy and warm even throughout the coldest of months. On arrival you'll be pleased to discover underfloor heating, a real treat after pulling tired feet out of those well-worn hiking boots! Step up into the ground floor lounge to discover a wood burner and abundance of comfy seating, perfect for curling up whilst the TV is switched on.

Any budding chef will be keen to jump at the chance to cook in this kitchen, also located on the ground floor. Along with a generous island for preparing a delicious meal for eight, this space is equipped with an American-style fridge/freezer and quality Rangemaster double oven which will certainly take the ease off feeding the masses.

This room has also been furnished with an extending dining table and wood burner-effect gas fire to keep everyone toasty. When it's time for bed you can ascend to the first floor via the original slate spiral staircase, a stunningly authentic element in this countryside accommodation, to find four welcoming bedrooms offering a great night's sleep.

Finally, the property wouldn't be complete without a generous garden set to lawn with a dining set and BBQ on-hand for your use.
