Book a cruise out on Derwentwater from here or head to Portinscale, 3 miles from the cottage, to hire your own boat or to have a go at paddle-boarding or canoeing. Step inside to find ample accommodation that makes the most of its stunning position. Younger members of your group might enjoy spending their time in the games room, which has table football and plenty of other activities to enjoy.

There is a shower room, with handbasin and WC, at ground-floor level. Make your way upstairs to discover the bedrooms. One of these has a super-king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, with bath with shower above, handbasin and WC. There is also a double bedroom; a twin room that can be arranged as a super-king on request; a super-king that can become a twin if discussed in advance.

A family shower room, with handbasin and WC can also be found on this floor. Spill out into the leafy garden whenever the weather is fine.
