Charmouth draws many visitors for good reason. As well as a stretch of beach popular with fossil hunters, there is a good range of local amenities. 2 miles south-west is ever-popular Lyme Regis, which is home to a famous ‘Cobb’ where you can take a boat trip or set off on foot around the picture-postcard streets lined with boutique shops, galleries, cafes and pubs.
Those wishing to get active can hike up Golden Cap, where you will find stunning views, or plan a route along a section of the South West Coast Path. Ideally situated for touring, from here you can visit many attractions lining the Jurassic Coast in both Devon and Dorset. Accessed via a shared gravel drive, the private entrance door gives access to this ground-floor property.
