The popular village of Charmouth is set along the coast and is, as the name suggests, at the mouth of the River Char. It is well serviced with local amenities as well as its own stretch of beach. Nearby Lyme Regis (2 miles) is home to charming streets filled with galleries, boutique shops, cafes, and pubs, or you can plan a boat trip from its much-photographed ‘Cobb’.

Enjoy the stunning views from Golden Cap after a hike up the hill or take in a section of the South West Coast Path.
