The two other attractive bedrooms are on the lower ground floor, another king, and a super-king (or twin), and a second shower room.
Outside, the patio is the perfect spot for chilling with a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine and admiring the stunning views. Wander into Keswick where there are lots of lovely shops and eateries; there's also a theatre, a cinema, museums, and art galleries to visit. Anyone interested in history will enjoy the volunteer-run Quarry and Mining Museum at Threlkeld quarry, 3 miles away, with fascinating collections and a narrow-gauge railway.
Derwentwater offers all sorts of fun, from hiring a motorboat or rowing boat, to kayaking and paddleboarding or touring the lake on a boat cruise. With the lakeshore, forests, and peaks to explore, the Lake District is a walker's paradise. For amazing views, head to Castlerigg Stone Circle, a 4-mile circular walk from town or walk up Latrigg, Keswick's nearest fell, a 4.5-mile walk.
