The Kent North Downs area is rich in heritage and culture with the National Trust property Quebec House located two doors away and Chartwell, the home of Winston Churchill 2 miles away. Hever Castle, (7 miles), Chiddingstone Castle (7 miles), and Penshurst Place (10 miles). For keen walkers, there are many local footpaths that lead from the doorstep whilst those who enjoy golf have the choice of two nearby courses to play. Enter this lovely quaint cottage into the warm and cosy lounge/diner with many original features, including traditional exposed beams and original wooden panelling.

This room is comfortably furnished with a sofa and armchair arranged around the Sky Glass TV and an electric wood burner effect stove. Light the fire on a chilly evening and curl up to catch up on your favourite programme’s or enjoy a sociable meal and some after-dinner board games at the dining table with seating for four which is arranged by the window.

Heading into the kitchen you will find everything you need for whipping up a delicious meal including a gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine, and coffee machine. Located just off the kitchen is the shower room with a walk-in shower and WC. Completing the ground floor is a small bedroom/games room with a double bed.

Stairs from the lounge lead up to the bedroom which is set within the eaves of the property. Here you will find a comfy king-size bed and a roll-top bath with a handheld shower attachment, perfect for enjoying a long hot soak after a busy day exploring the local area. Outside there is a cottage-style courtyard garden, which has a patio table and chairs for enjoying outside meals.

(please note that access to the garden is via the ground floor bedroom). There is private parking for one medium size car at the front of the property and additional parking is located nearby.
