The local area, once known for its pistol making, is steeped in history and home to Doune Castle, which has famously been featured in many films and TV series, thanks to the unspoilt beauty of its surroundings.

Brimming with charm, the property itself has been tastefully decorated throughout; retaining many original features, it's a veritable feast for your eyes. Step inside to the inviting lounge which features a sophisticated scheme of bold colours, prints and beautiful decorative objects; with the wood burner lit, it is a welcoming space to spend time in for the evening, perhaps with a dram in hand and a good book to read.

Whether you're preparing a hearty meal or have bought one in, the dining table in the sunroom is the perfect place to enjoy getting everyone around the table. The three well-presented bedrooms are all doubles, one with an en-suite shower room and WC. There is also a separate shower room with WC. Outside, the cottage boasts a mature garden with lawned area, trees and shrubs which wrap around the property. The patio and seating area is a delightful spot for al fresco dining and showcases lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
