Leave your walking boots in your private hallway which has elegant high ceilings and a large chandelier.

Head through to the lounge, set at the front of the building where two picture windows flood the space with light. Stylish shutters allow you to let the sunlight in or close the outside world off. There are comfortable sofas and a Smart TV where you can catch up on your favourite shows and plan the days ahead.

Over the other side of the hallway is a contemporary and spacious kitchen/diner which has everything you need to create any delicious meals. A quirky shower room was once a chemist's medicine preparation room and downstairs is a bedroom containing a double bed. The owners have also provided luscious dressing gowns and slippers for your stay.

Though this property doesn't have any private outside space, you can explore the beautiful countryside right from the doorstep. Set right on Sennybridge High Street, you will find several pubs and shops within 500 metres. Spend days chasing waterfalls or climbing the fells in the Brecon Beacons National Park (10 miles).

Dan yr Ogof National Showcaves of Wales are 10 miles away which provides an awe-inspiring day out, or take to the water via canoe on the River Usk between Brecon (8 miles) and Talyont-on-Usk (16 miles).
