Cyclists will be thrilled to know that the Cinder Track, a picturesque 22-mile-long route from Whitby to Scarborough, is joinable 0.5 miles from the village.

With one double bedroom, the accommodation would work well for a solo traveller or a couple keen to explore and discover this delightful corner of England. Whitby (5.5 miles) is wonderful for a day out by the sea, with its sandy beaches, museum and Gothic abbey ruins.
