With both the River Dee and the canal running through it, Llangollen is a hive of activity and one of the prettiest towns in North Wales.
You can embark on so many adventures from here, including a walk to the awe-inspiring Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (3 miles), a hike up to the ruins of Castell Dinas Bran (2.5 miles) and a tour of the Plas Newydd Historic House & Gardens (1.5 miles). In the town centre, you'll always find a pub or a restaurant to dip into for refreshments before making your way back home.
