Open up the large patio doors and step out onto the balcony, the perfect setting to unwind with a tasty glass of wine whilst taking in your incredible surroundings. Make your way back inside to the new large open plan kitchen/living/dining room with sofa and flat screen TV and discover a wide range of appliances such as an electric oven and hob, a fridge and a freezer, as well as a handy dishwasher meaning there’s no need to worry over who’ll be washing up! Completing the first floor is a well-designed cloakroom featuring both a basin and WC, whilst up on the first floor a large and contemporary bathroom provides a light and airy space to prepare for the day ahead.

Also on the first floor, three wonderfully appointed bedrooms made up of a king-size with an en-suite shower, a twin and a double sleeping one guest, together providing ample space for up to five guests. No trip to the Lake District would be complete without some awe-inspiring fell walking. Grab your walking boots and head for Wansfell Pike or why not push yourself to the limit with an enthralling hike to the peak of Red Screens.

Wander the tranquil woodland of Stagshaw Garden before continuing to the centre of Ambleside where you will find a plethora of charming cafés, restaurants and pubs, together covering all of your self-catering needs. See the ancient remains of Ambleside Roman Fort, or visit the neighbouring villages of Rydal and Grasmere to learn of the life and works of famous English Poet William Wordsworth.
