The barn’s private entrance leads directly into its open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, an airy, welcoming area complete with rustic furnishings peppered about solid wooden flooring. Foodies will be in their element in the galley kitchen, with indulgent family favourites ready to be enjoyed only a few metres away.

Elsewhere, the comfortable sofas around the wood burner will be the second home for gaming, podcast marathons and evening films. Three cosy bedrooms - a double, a twin and a single - dominate the first floor and stand close to a spacious family bathroom. Doors in the lounge lead out into an enclosed garden split between a patio and a lawn area, an ideal spot for morning coffees and BBQ suppers enjoyed to the sound of nature.
